Chemists Workbench can accelerate your development
projects. The idea behind the Chemists Workbench methodology is quite
simple. It helps you find a better point, from which to start your
project, and gets you to your project goal much faster. It
also helps you to identify and solve quality issues in the development
phase. It has been used on rubber, adhesives, coatings, fiberglass
processing, and food projects.
Chemists Workbench includes three major capabilities:
Data
Base Manipulations
Design
Of Experimental Series
Analysis
of Results.
Data Base manipulations
Chemists Workbench provides the ability to search and
sort experiments in the data base using variable levels and property results.
This is done via the discrete desirability methodology which helps you
set your goals, search the data base finding those experiments which satisfy
your goals, and rank the experiments by how well these experiments meet
your goals. .
You may also store, retrieve, and copy the experimental
series.
Design of Experimental Series
An experimental series may consist of one to any number
of experiments. The Design of the series includes four specific functions:
design the series, specify the processing, gather the test results,
and add comments.
A Design of Experiments capability is also included
and the system comes with a data base of designs. You can add any
number of experimental designs, modify any design, or delete any design
in the data base. (The system does not require that you use statistical
designs).
Analysis of Results
The analysis capability includes goal setting, multiple
regression, continuous optimization, discrete optimization and sensitivity
analysis. Chemists workbench also produces 2D, 3D and contour plots.
